Description & History

This Gucci companion wallet in GG Supreme and black leather is the everyday wallet for those who want a single item that does it all — cards, bills, coins, secured by an all-around zip, in a 19 × 10 cm format that fits in all bags. Uncomplicated.

The GG Supreme canvas — interlocking double G printed on a durable, coated jacquard canvas — is one of Gucci's most recognizable and enduring signatures. Developed to offer weather and abrasion resistance that leather alone cannot guarantee, it has been used on almost all of the house's iconic bags and accessories since its relaunch by Frida Giannini in the mid-2000s. On this companion wallet, it is framed and edged with smooth black leather — a sharp contrast between the warm beige of the monogram and the black of the trims that is one of Gucci's most classic and timeless combinations.

The all-around zip is the most secure closure for a companion wallet — nothing can accidentally slip out, the opening is wide, and access to all compartments (cards, bills, zipped coin pocket) is immediate once opened. In good overall condition, the canvas is clean and without defects. The corners show slight signs of use and the zip has some micro-scratches, consistent with use — without affecting functionality.
